AMANDA MCPHERSON FOUNDATION - SCHEDULE OF OFFICERS

Philip John McPherson serves as president and co-founder of The Amanda McPherson Foundation. Phil’s major accomplishments include the founding of The Amanda McPherson Foundation in 2004, as well as organizing the annual fundraisers such as the Golf Tournament and Family Walk. Other accomplishments include working towards the development of an appropriate softball field for Simi Valley Girls Softball and introducing the “Amanda’s Corner” for special needs children in the community. Phil, along with his wife, Mary McPherson, started The Amanda McPherson Foundation and it has now raised an estimated $450,000.

Phil also created the “Change for Change” program that encourages participants to raise funds by collecting spare change thus enabling the foundation to “Do Good Things in Amanda’s Name”.

Phil is the owner of The Philip McPherson Insurance Agency, Inc. and has been honored for outstanding service and sales by Farmers Insurance Group, as a member of their Presidents Council. Phil is a graduate of California State University Northridge where he received his Bachelors of Arts in Physical Education. Phil is husband to Mary and father to Krista and Amanda.

Mary L. McPherson serves as the board secretary and co-founder of The Amanda McPherson Foundation. Mary’s major accomplishments include founding The Amanda McPherson Foundation in 2004, introducing the “Amanda’s Corner” for special needs children in the community and performing as editor in chief of the foundations newsletter. Mary, along with her husband, Phil McPherson, started The Amanda McPherson Foundation which has now raised an estimated $450,000.

Mary has been working in the insurance industry for over 10 years and while professional life is important to Mary her greatest achievement is enjoying the success of her children and the foundation.

Mary is a graduate of California State University Northridge. She received her Bachelors of Science in Math and Computer Science. Mary is wife to Phil and mother to Krista and Amanda.

Thomas F. Costello is vice-president of The Amanda McPherson Foundation. Tom’s major accomplishments include working on the annual fundraisers such as the Golf Tournament and Family Walk. Tom has been instrumental in the foundations work to develop appropriate softball fields for Simi Valley Girls Softball by developing key relationships with local government and city officials. As vice-president, Tom has helped raise an estimated $450,000 for The Amanda McPherson Foundation.

Tom owns Costello & Associates Insurance Agency, Inc. and has been honored for outstanding service and sales by Farmers Insurance Group with such honors as “Championship Conference”, “Masters Conference” and “Topper’s Club”.

Tom is a graduate of University of Texas - El Paso. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Administration. Tom is husband to Shelly, father to Christine, Tommy and Jack.

Steven D. Reich serves as treasurer and director of the advisory committee for The Amanda McPherson Foundation. Steve’s major accomplishments include working on the annual fundraisers such as the Golf Tournament and the Family Walk. As treasurer, Steve has helped raise an estimated $450,000 for the Amanda McPherson Foundation.

Steve is the owner and president of The Steve Reich Insurance Agency, Inc. and has been honored for outstanding service and sales by Farmers Insurance Group as a member of the Presidents Council. The Daily News readers honored him as “The Best Insurance Agent” in the Conejo Valley.

Steve is a graduate of Arizona State University where he received a Bachelors of Science. Steve majored in Insurance and minored in Business Management. Steve is husband to Claudia Reich, father to Dionne and Ashley and the grandfather of two grand daughters Riley and Emma.

Matthew S. Gee serves as parliamentarian for The Amanda McPherson Foundation. Matt’s major accomplishments include organizing, coordinating and serving as Master of Ceremonies of the annual Golf Tournament, the organization’s most successful fundraising event. Matt has also been instrumental in starting the Amanda’s Corner program for special needs children in the community. As parliamentarian, Matt has helped raised an estimated $450,000 for the Amanda McPherson Foundation.

Matt owns the Matthew Gee & Associates Insurance Agency, Inc. and has been honored for outstanding service and sales by Farmers Insurance Group with such honors as “Championship Conference”, “Masters Conference” and “Topper’s Club”.

Matt is a graduate of University of Southern California where he received a Bachelors of Arts in Public Administration. Matt is husband to Alana Gee, father to two sons Tucker and Tanner and one daughter Malia.
